MONTAGUE Navigator Folding Road/Gravel Bike with Rackstand

  • Sale
  • £1,599.00

The Navigator is a multi-use folding bike with standard 700c wheels. Knobby 35mm tires, 27 speeds, and disc brakes has this bike at home on paved roads, dirt roads and gravel trails. The included RackStand which acts as a cargo carrier, kickstand, fender, and folded bike stand also makes it perfect for commuting and touring. In a matter of seconds it folds for the train, car trunk, or closet.

DirectConnect™ Folding System

The DirectConnect folding system removes the quick release from the top tube, provides an easier folding experience and larger clamping surface between the two halves of the frame. A flip of the quick release lever and your bike folds to a compact size.

Folding Integrated Technology

The Navigator frame is designed around another patented system that allows the bike to fold without any breaks in the frame’s tubing. Not only does this make it easier to fold, but it makes Montague bikes the strongest folding bike on the market. The Folding Integrated Technology (F.I.T.) is based around the same frame construction concepts as serious full suspension downhill bikes.

RackStand

RackStand is a luggage carrier, mudguard, kickstand, and work stand all in one. A quick release allows it to rotate under the rear wheel on a specially designed axle mount. When in the lowered position it acts as a kickstand or workstand, makes folding your Montague easier, and allows the folded bike to be stored or displayed upright.

SETUP
All Montague bikes come '95% ready to ride' which means some minor assembly is required before you can take your new Montague bike out for a first ride.

Whilst this is generally within the realms of most competent home mechanics, our recommendation is always that you get your bike set up for you by your local independent bike shop.
Most have reasonable charges for an initial assembly and check-over (generally known as a PDI, or Pre-Delivery Inspection) and you can be sure that gears, brakes and other fine-tuning will be fully sorted for you.
It's also good to get to know them and see what other products and services they can offer.
When making your purchase, you can designate your local bike shop as the delivery address if you prefer. However, please book your assembly and checkover with them first and ensure that direct delivery to them is OK, as some have limited storage space and busy workshop schedules. If you need delivery to be on, or near, a particular date, please just email us after purchase and we will arrange this as close as possible.

If you are within a reasonable distance of our Hampshire base (GU31 postcode), we can set up your new bike here, ready for you to collect. Just contact us before or after purchase to check our workshop schedule and arrange a suitable date for collection.
